We all know Pilates strengthens your core - what else does it do?

1. Pilates mobilises EVERY joint in your body.
Movement is vital for the health and longevity of your joints. Pilates exercises focus on each and every joint, making it the ideal form of exercise to keep you moving well.
2. Pilates is LOW IMPACT. 
It strengthens your body without stressing and straining your joints. Low impact doesn't mean easy - you'll still feel your whole body working.

3. Pilates is MINDFUL
We all know the importance of taking time to be in the here and now for mental health. Pilates involves thinking about how you're moving and connecting  to your body, helping to reduce stress.

4. Pilates helps you BREATHE better
Co-ordinating breathing with moving is a key part of Pilates. Learning not to hold your breath and to breathe more deeply promotes muscle relaxation and helps reduce muscle tension and stress.
