Are you tired of feeling unsteady on your feet or concerned about the effects of aging on your strength or mobility? Join our strength and balance classes, designed specifically for people aged 55+.
In our Strength and Balance classes you will use Pilates equipment, resistance bands and hand-held weights to build your strength and balance and to increase your flexibility.
Strength and Balance Classes will particularly help individuals who experience:
- Osteoarthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Decreased mobility or balance
- Recovering from a recent injury or surgery
- Stiff joints
These classes are designed to be a fun and engaging type of exercise, adapted to suit all fitness levels. There is a maximum of 10 people per class, ensuring you get the supervision and guidance you need at all times.

How to join
To make sure you get the most out of the classes, you will need to have a private introductory session where one of our physiotherapists will assess your needs and capabilities. In this session you will learn how to use our equipment safely so you can confidently start our strength and balance classes.
